A 202-bed regional hospital offering a variety of medical services.
Opportunity:Looking for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to take call 24/7 for the last 10-11 days every month (starting the 20th of each month). They will carry a small patient panel of outpatients (if able) to follow and perform elective/emergent CTCVS surgeries. They will provide on-call services, covering cath lab,emergency surgeries, inpatient consults/surgeries.DATES NEEDED:10/20/2024 7am - 7am 10/25/202410/31/2024 7am - 7am 11/4/202411/15/2024 7am - 7am 12/1/202412/18/2024 7am - 7am 12/20/20241/1/2025 7am - 7am 1/3/2025Complete Cardio-Thoracic coverage for hospital.This includes urgent cases and call.No clinic coverage necessary. This is for hospital only.There is first assist APP and APP rounding.Physician will be second call.Adult demographic100% Hospital basedEMR: CernerPatients per day: variable (10 surgeries/month for full time provider)Support staff, APP coverage, number of providers in the clinic and on-site services: CTCVS is supported with 1-3 APPs (sourcing locums and recruiting during a current gap). There isa dedicated RN to the program who facilitates scheduling. OR, radiology, and lab are all onsite.Compensation:
