Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer to work at our Corporate Headquarters in Meridian, ID as part of our Municipal Engineering Team.
As one of the largest professional engineering companies in the Intermountain West, J-U-B delivers innovative services to allow our clients to succeed while providing a long-term, stable work environment for our employees.
While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this position will include:Plan, design and implement critical community infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation and general utility engineering.Participation in all phases of project planning, design, and construction.Analyze engineering data, creation of construction-ready plans and specifications, and sound decisions to solve challenges.Technical focus on project engineering and design services to produce engineering studies, plans, specifications and cost estimates.Partner with senior engineers, project managers and sub-consultants for reporting, design, and construction phase services to enhance public infrastructure.Collaborate with government agencies for permits, crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements.Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.Coordination and support of multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company.Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS Pro, and Aquanuity.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering. Certification as an Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE).2-6 years of experience as a licensed EI or PE.Excellent communication and writing skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams.Proven technical background and skillset.Municipal engineering background.Compensation : $70,000– $105,000 annually, determined by experience.Benefits : In addition to your competitive salary, J-U-B also offers an extensive benefits package including:Bonuses for qualified employeesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match, profit sharingVacation, sick, and holiday payOwnership potential after three yearsWe also offer a flexible work environment and the ability to work in a team-centered, collaborative, and supportive atmosphere.
