Training and Development Specialist -HealthcareMust have healthcare background - training experience/supervisory experienceFull time!

Do you have experience in training and development and want to work for a company that actively improves the lives of the individuals it serves? In the Training and Development Specialist role, you will be an important part of our commitment to serve others by facilitating the training programs that support field operations.Develop and maintains course curriculumConfer with management and staff to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in policies and proceduresDesign, create, and update training aids, such as manuals, handouts, course exercises, and visual aidsDeliver instruction using multiple modalities including one-on-one, classroom, teleconferencing, web-based training, and computer-based trainingConfer with management, internal training consultants, and HR to identify additional training needs, as required for new staffEnsure ongoing feedback of training programs and modify programs as neededPrepare and facilitate client-specific and clinical type training in addition to new hire orientation, CPR, and medical administrationProvide input regarding the formulation and modification of procedures and practices pertaining to agency trainingMaintain current knowledge of organizational and industrial trends and make appropriate recommendations for new or updated training programsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, not requiredOne year of related experience -healthcare background!Current CPR/First Aid Certification as required by stateStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlinesEffective communication skills to manage relationshipsSelf-motivated and collaborative; a team playerWhy Join Us?
