Description: We are actively looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to become a valuable member of our team. As a Crisis QMHP, you will play a vital role in offering support and intervention to individuals facing crisis situations. Your responsibilities will include responding to crises in real-time, being deployed through the 988 call center, and working in Crisis Stabilization. Responsibilities:- Conduct crisis assessments and develop crisis stabilization plans for individuals in crisis- Provide short-term crisis counseling and intervention to clients- Coordinate with other professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress- Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay current on best practices and protocols- Respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and staffRequirements: - Bachelor's degree in human services (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology)- Valid QMHP certification in the state of Virginia- Experience working with individuals in crisis or in a mental health setting- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
