Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bellstand Attendant to join our team at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.Key Responsibilities
Greet and escort guests to their rooms, providing a warm and welcoming experience.Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, ensuring their safety and comfort.Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, as well as local areas of interest and activities.Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and in-room safes.Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring timely and efficient service.Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage.Supply guests with directions, ensuring they have the information they need to navigate our property and surrounding area.Arrange transportation for guests/visitors, recording advance transportation requests as needed.Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring they understand our parking policies and procedures.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service to guests in a timely and efficient manner.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.Ability to move, lift, and carry objects in a variety of settings, including stairs and service ramps.What We Offer
