Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer II to join our team at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Key Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and visually inspecting tools and equipment.Identify and locate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work, and display working knowledge of all engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance and energy management.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, and vocational or technical background in a related field.At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Valid driver's license, and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification.Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.What We Offer
