The Business Technology and Optimization Specialist – Level II (BTOS2) is a member of the Business Unit / Commercial team. The BTOS2 is responsible for supporting and coordinating process and technology project initiatives with IT/ Business Systems related projects utilizing functional knowledge (e.g., sales & operations) and business acumen. The BTOS2 is the business unit Local Process Owner who leads business change management from current SAP business processes to future SAP business processes, and includes optimization of Salesforce GCRM in coordination with the Business Units Regions/ Global IT. The BTOS2 is responsible for implementing continuous business improvement initiatives to develop, execute, and provide ongoing support for Digital Transformation at the direction of Business Unit leadership. While the BTOS2 reports within the Business Unit, it is global in nature, as the individual must collaborate with global counterparts to ensure a uniform adoption of IT solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

(not limited to)Ensure processes are aligned with global business requirementsBusiness Unit lead to identify and/or participate in process improvement projects simultaneously and present options to management that will drive optimization initiatives in coordination with cross-functional teams (IT and US Business Units) and stakeholders for SAP, GCRM and Digitalization initiativesProvide coordination and support to IT business representatives, including participation in interactive analysis and assessment sessions for the design, development, and implementation of information technology solutions.Support the development of project charters, plans, and schedules; execute communication plans, project review meetings, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project completionDevelop business cases for strategic processes and commercial improvement goals at the direction of the leadership teamPartner with stakeholders to manage training, communication, and risk management plans by applying relevant business knowledge to develop appropriate strategies and solutions.Liase between the US Business Units, internal IT, and global IT for global ERP (SAP) process alignmentLead efforts in assisting Customer Service Experts to resolve SAP order entry and fulfillment problems promptlySupport the Business Unit by applying proficiencies using queries and tables in SAP to fulfill reporting requirements and enhance data-driven decision makingDevelop reports, dashboards, and other tools to monitor KPI’sLaunch new and advanced digitalization opportunities within the Business Unit organizations and drive implementation of any new automation initiatives

QualificationsBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university

with SAP business system, specifically in the Order To Cash processes and Master Data management
