MLCHC is looking for an experienced Director of Dental Operations to manage 3 dental locations. The Director of Dental Operations is responsible for analyzing, managing, and improving the efficiency of workflows of clinical support and non-clinical support staff to ensure dental operations and dental service delivery meets the needs of the patient as well as meeting the operational, quality, customer service, and performance goals of the organization.ResponsibilitiesManages the ongoing operations of 3 different locationsPrepares, analyzes, and reports to leadership monthly department reports including but not limited to utilization, production, billing accuracy, and timeliness of general operationsMaximizes software programs for effective and efficient data collection, and reportingLeads quality improvement projects and develops testing and training documentsManages special programs, including but not limited to, Endodontics and OrthodonticsManages planning development and improvement for the dental departmentAnalyzes all operations and business practices to improve efficiency in patient schedulingServes as a liaison with outside agencies, including maintaining documentation for preceptor and extern programsOversees development opportunities for dental support staff in all locationsCommits to the CEO's Leadership Expectations as a leader of people and working as part of the Leadership TeamActively participate in Leadership Forum by presenting information and communicating messages to and from the departmentDevelops and maintains policies and procedures as appropriate to the roleActively participates with Human Resources in the hiring processDevelops and coordinates new hire onboarding process and continuous training programs for all staff within the departmentRequirements

Job duties require knowledge and training in the field of business, typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field3 years minimum supervisory/leadership experience required5 years of Dental experience preferred but not requiredMust have reliable transportation to travel between 3 dental sites, provide documentation of auto insurance, and a valid driver's licenseSummaryWe are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive primary health care services for the entire community.
