Golf Car TechnicianWe are a well-established company looking to hire immediately. We have been in business for over 30 years. We Sell, Rent, and Service all brands of golf cars, side-by-sides, industrial equipment, gas, and electric. This role requires an experienced mechanic who can independently diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical problems utilizing diagnostic tools, service manuals, and schematics to quickly and effectively repair golf carts and side-by-sides.Pay starts at $20 per hour and up - depending on experienceHealth Insurance OptionsDental Insurance OptionsSupplemental Insurance OptionsPaid time offPaid holidays
Requirements:
MUST have experience being a small engine mechanic/technicianWe prefer 2+ years’ experience in small engine diagnoses and repairWe prefer 1+ years’ experience in electrical diagnoses and repairs or an Electrical DegreeRequired to have your own toolsQualifications:
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with golf carts or similar vehiclesMust be able to follow oral and written instructionsAbility to work with minimum supervision and be a self-starter.Must be motivated, organized, and deadline oriented.Basic computer skills for parts lookup and troubleshooting.Must be a team player that is proactive with a positive attitude.
Job Duties:
Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with golf carts and side by sides.Perform preventative maintenance services on golf carts and UTV/Side by Sides.Perform repairs on golf carts and UTV/Side by sides.Assembling/disassembling, performing basic tune-ups, discharging and/or replacing batteries, etc.Properly filling out work orders and preventative maintenance sheetsAdhere to safety protocols and procedures
Physical Requirements:
Continuous standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crawling, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting 75 lbs. or more.Hours:
Monday-Friday7:30 am- 5 pm *Occasional Weekend’s - Overtime availableApplicants must have their own transportation. Applicant must be drug-free, have a clear background, and have a valid Texas driver’s license.Powered by JazzHR
