Work where you matter.You Belong at Avera:Competitive pay, various shifts and career growth opportunities.Are you looking to get work-life balance back in your life?If so, this could be the perfect position for you!Position Highlights:Flexible Scheduling:Work 4 hour-10 hour shifts.Your choice!Competitive pay:Flat rate hourly pay of $50.00 per hour.Positive Work Environment:Be part of an organization where we practice the mission in our daily operations and demonstrate our pride by delivering excellent care.Career Growth:You have the opportunity to go beyond licensure and employment requirements and become nationally certified.Job SummaryUnder the direction and supervision of the Operative Services Director is directly responsible for performing circulating and/or scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room; for providing nursing care to patients preoperatively, perioperatively, and postoperatively in support of care directed by the surgeon.Provide other assistance as required to the surgical team; and for acting in any nursing capacity as directed by the Operating Room Director and Coordinator.All nursing care functions/responsibilities are based on the ANA standardsAdheres to the Nursing Code of Ethics, Avera’s Mission and Avera’s Service Excellence Standards.Education and/or ExperienceGraduate of Registered Nursing Education program.3 years of experience required.Licensure/Certification/RegistrationMinimum of one year experience in operating room nursing is preferred.Participates in educational conferences, and updates and maintains current professional clinical competency related to areas of responsibilities.Attends all mandatory hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.BLS required.Work ScheduleHours:Position requires 72 hours worked in a six-week schedule equating to 624 hours annually, not exceeding 1248 hours in a 12-month period.Six weekends required annually.PayFlat Rate pay of $50.00 per hourWhat Makes Avera Special?
