If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for process improvement, working closely with a financial team and supporting small business owners, this is an exceptional opportunity to have a significant impact while contributing to the success of our Company.ResponsibilitiesSupport and contribute to all aspects of an accounting departmentUtilize logistics software and tools to track and analyze key performance indicatorsPrepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and operational efficienciesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and reduce costsIdentify trends and opportunitiesPrepare and publish timely, monthly and quarterly financial statements & tax filingsPrepare A/R, A/P and weekly cash flow reportsEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingSupport CFO in relationships with Financial institutions, CPA’s and auditorsPrepare and analyze annual budgetsSupport the Human Resources function of CompanyInstill and support a culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability and transparency within the finance department and across companyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 5 years of relevant work experienceSubstantial experience managing $15MM+ in annual revenueStrong knowledge of financial reporting standards (US GAAP)Strong information systems/ERP system experienceStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends and make strong profitable recommendations based on analysisKnowledge of internal control frameworks
