The Westminster College School of Nursing is seeking an AdjunctFaculty member to teach anIntroductory Microbiology course for pre-nursing students for springsession beginning Monday, January 13, 2025, for in person didactic and lab.
There is also availability to teach theIntroductory Microbiology course for summer instruction for anasynchronous online didactic and lab session for a 15-week coursebeginning June 2, 2025.
The course, syllabi, and lessons forbot formats are established. Topics covered include cellular structure,microbes and antimicrobial agents, genetics, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and parasites. This courseincludes lab time for the student tovisualize and apply learned material. A minimum of a bachelor's degree inbiology or microbiology and teaching experience required.
