Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
to join our amazing team.Details of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner opening:Anticipated start date: ASAPSalary Range: $650/dayAnticipated duration of assignment: As NeededAnticipated schedule: 8 hour daysEnjoy peace of mind knowing you can elect Day One Medical BenefitsDaily Range of Responsibilities of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner:Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc., or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pensionOne-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessmentsExams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testingNo prescribing, no treatmentDMA certification available (can get CME credits) - will need to obtain once privileged if not already certifiedUse of Goniometer requiredFamiliar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio requiredProficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditionsOwn personal laptop (NO MACs)Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report; end product is completion of standardized form(s)Record review is required in most casesFollow up administrative work will be required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics)Qualifications for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner:Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programNationally recognized as a Nurse PractitionerClinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specifiedHolds a current NP and RN license in state in which employed and practicesBLSSubmit your resume to us today for consideration of the
