Job Summary:The Woman s Hospital of Texas is seeking to recruit a Physician Assistant to provide support to a busy, employed Pediatric Surgery group. The position is open to established PAs or new grads interested in the pediatric surgery service line.
Qualified candidates:
Certification as a Physician AssistantAbility to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical licenseNew grad PA's will be considered - but must have strong pediatric surgery experience or passion for pediatric surgery.Must be people-oriented and willing to learnMonday Friday, 7:00 am 4:00 pmCall approximately 6 weeknights a month, & every 5th weekendWill cover The Woman s Hospital of Texas, HCA Houston Clear Lake & satellite locationsResponsibilities include: rounding on patients, seeing consults & newborn circumcisions in the hospital, first assisting in the operating room, and seeing new/established/post-operative patients on clinic days
