Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to the team.
Previous orthopedic experience is preferred but
will train a new graduate
with interest in orthopedics!The position includes both the clinic and OR.The new Physician Assistant will be working with a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon.Cases include both pediatric and adult and includes total joints, trauma, back etc.Recent graduates please apply.
Responsibilities include:First assistInitial evaluationsJoint aspiration and injectionsPre-op and Post-op H&P sReductions of fractures and dislocationsWrite scriptsCoordinate with Physical Therapist and ATC sOrdering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRICasting and splintingPossibility to run clinicsHospital rounds
The location is 40 minutes to Bloomington.
This city has universities, a local airport, low cost of living and excellent school systems. Salary depends on experience plus an excellent production bonus plan. There is a full benefits package offered.
