The Advocating Success for Kids (ASK) program is a specialty service of the Children’s Hospital Primary Care Center (CHPCC) and the Martha Eliot Health Center. The ASK team includes developmental-behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and educators who work to address developmental, learning, and/or behavioral needs of children. About 70% of the children in ASK have a diagnosis of autism. LICSW supervision is provided.

This ASK Social Work will be responsible for:

Providing assessment, treatment, and advocacy for a diverse group of children.Partnering with families and school systems to advocate for special education services through attendance at IEP or other school related meetingsProviding case management and crisis intervention as needed.

To qualify, you must have:

Master’s Degree in Social Work; MA LCSW required, LICSW preferredBilingual Spanish preferredExperience working with children and families idealPublic school, Autism and/or Early Intervention experience highly preferredAbility to work in a fast pace setting, managing tasks in a timely mannerEnthusiasm, optimism, and self-motivationPersons of diverse backgrounds encouraged to applyThis position is eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus!
