Ms Lab:All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changesSchedule InformationShifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 1p-1a Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretion12 hour nights, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidaysUnit Specific InformationUnit: ED / Trauma# beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54.Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)
Ratios: 1:4 ratio
EMR:CernerCharge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient loadNurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sitters

NavyTele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read stripsVents: Managed by RTHospitalist or Intensivists in house: Minimum of 2 MDs or as many as 8.Midlevels also utilized
