Production Operator - 3rd shift

Position Summary:Support plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for assisting in packaging of product of internal and external use, and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.Shift: 11p - 7am, with applicable shift premium, Monday - Friday weekly schedule with opportunity for additional overtime.Responsibilities:
Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safelySafely operate machine to properly produce product and follow proper procedures for packaging to external customersRemove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flowDemonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeMaintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaceResponsible for safety and quality throughout productionClean equipment and area before, during, and after shiftMaintain clean work area through good housekeeping practicesFollow proper sorting and restacking instruction given by quality departmentAssist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front end operatorsPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalentExperience working in a Manufacturing EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructionsBasic Math skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climbAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to lift up to 35lbs
