**Join Our Team as a Header Sub Arc/Lance Operator!**We are seeking skilled Header Sub Arc/Lance Operators to join our team for the night shift.**What You’ll Do:**+ **Master the Art of Welding** : Weld trunnions to the ends of headers and position them with precision using an overhead or jib crane.+ **Operate Advanced Equipment** : Align the electrode on the welding head over the weld joint with ease, using state-of-the-art machinery.+ **Handle Electrode Wire** : Load and thread electrode wire through feed rolls and the welding head, ensuring smooth operation.+ **Set and Adjust Parameters** : Fine-tune current, voltage, and slope settings to achieve perfect welds every time.+ **Monitor and Inspect** : Keep a close eye on meters and gauges, ensuring every weld meets our high standards.+ **Finish with Precision** : Examine and grind welds to perfection, making sure they adhere to all specifications.+ **Adapt and Innovate** : Adjust machine setups to vary bead size, location, and penetration, and tackle workpieces with skill.+ **Preheat and Prepare** : Use hand torches or heating furnaces to preheat workpieces, ensuring optimal welding conditions.+ **Clean and Repair** : Remove surplus slag, flux, and spatter, and use carbon arc gougers to make necessary repairs.**What We Offer:**+ **Competitive Pay** : Potential for higher pay based on your experience.+ **Growth Opportunities** : Develop your skills and advance your career in a supportive environment.+ **Innovative Work Environment** : Work with cutting-edge equipment and technology.+ **Team Collaboration** : Be part of a team that values collaboration and excellence.**Requirements:**+ Must be able to pass a **1g Saw Plate Sub-Arc and 2g Plate Test** .**_Ready to take the next step in your welding career?
