Mold Machine Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mold Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining molds used in the production of polyurethane pipe cleaning pigs. This role is crucial to ensuring high-quality output and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor mold machines to produce polyurethane components for pipe cleaning pigs.Set up molds and adjust machine settings according to specifications.Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on mold equipment to ensure optimal performance.Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary.Maintain accurate production logs and reports, documenting any issues or discrepancies.Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve manufacturing processes.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or machining preferred.Previous experience as a mold operator or in a similar manufacturing role, particularly with polyurethane, is a plus.Familiarity with mold setup, operation, and maintenance.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a commitment to safety.
