Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.In 2023, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR 6.515 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Job DescriptionDemonstrate understanding of Quality System (ELN, EtQ. eLIMS, Pyramid etc.) and regulatory processApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateApplies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibilityDemonstrates, and promotes the company vision, policies and proceduresProactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivityMeets all quality and productivity metricsEnsure that the quality policy program is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization; identify, prevent, or correct any departures from the quality systemDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot and solve Technical/compliance problemsLead and write investigations independentlyMonitor trends and identify/implement CAPADevelop and implement operational improvementsWork on more complex projects and lead staff to successfully complete projectsSupport and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvementsGuide and mentor junior staff to successfully complete projects and grow technical knowledgeAssist in driving Quality System development, improvement and utilization o Work with software development group to develop user requirements and provide quality oversightSupervise others in performing client's service requirementsCoach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvementsManage workflow, assign work and establish processes to meet TATPerform semi-annual and yearly performance reviews, including writing of PMD'sConfront and address problems, concerns, and performance issues • Coach and develop individual and team to maximize performanceEvaluate staffing needs and provide justifications for growthMonitor and approve employees' time worked through time-entry systemSupport and promote company policies and proceduresContinually evaluate systems and processes to help improve overall productivity and qualityContinuously expand Leadership skills; attend applicable leadership training based on identified needsPerform and/or assign other duties as requested to ensure smooth operation of department • Monitor and control spendingCoordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TATConduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and at least 3 years of laboratory experienceThe Ideal Candidate Would Possess:Self confidence, leadership, ability to reason, make sound decisions, delegate work, display empathy and sensitivity towards others; motivation to excel and inspire excellence in others; display ability to manage the work of others and see projects through to completion; display strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills; display mental and emotional stability and maturity; possess ability to handle personal stress and diffuse stress in others; strong organizational skills and ability to multitask; display good judgment and tact in recognizing and solving problems; set positive example for others; display dedication to quality, ethics, and customer service; display pride in appearance, conduct and companyAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm .
