This is a contract-to-hire role.**Job Title:** Material Handler**Pay Rate:** $17/Hr**Location:** Litchfield Park, AZ**Weekdays Shifts:**1st- Monday-Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm2nd- Monday-Thursday 7:00 pm - 5:3 0am**Weekends Shifts:**Friday, Saturday & SundayDays: (7am- 5:30pm)Nights: (7pm-5:30am)**Description:**Performs entry-level tasks to support inventory movement, storage, and packaging. A typical workday may include:• Pulling orders and preparing orders for shipment• Using an RF scanner to pick up orders• Packing orders into boxes for shippingOther duties of a material handler include:• Loading and unloading different transport items• Recording inventory statuses• Ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders• Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock• Recording location of inventory• Reporting shortages• Pulling orders from inventory• Delivering production materials and supplies where needed• Staging finished product final distributionMaterial handlers are an important component of the warehousing industry, and their duties include handling and moving merchandise around the premises.
