We are seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our team for a Manufacturing Production facility in Fort Mill, SC! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control within the production warehouse.Second Shift: Monday through Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Pay Rate: $16.50/hr.As a Material Handler, you are responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move goods and products around the warehouse and production areas. Responsible for the safe and proper handling and movement of all inbound and outbound materials and accurately recording and processing orders in and out of the warehouse. The Material Handler is responsible for multiple tasks in shipping, receiving, production, and the warehouse.Functions/ResponsibilitiesUnload and Loading TrucksPackaging of completed ordersUtilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners, and barcodes to process customer orders, receive a product and relocate items throughout the warehouseConsolidates and stores raw and finished goods in their proper locationsSafely storing material and suppliesQuality inspection of incoming and outgoing ordersPerform cycle counts on raw and/or finished inventory and participate in all scheduled physical InventoriesMaintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and working areas including the outside perimeter of the building around docks, common areas, and landscapingAssist in the training of new employees as directed by the leadership teamIdentify and communicate any safety concerns and report any property damagePerform and document daily forklift (PIT) and equipment inspectionsFlexibility to train and work in multiple areasRaise any issues or concerns that arise day to day work to the Supervisor, Plant Manager, or PresidentQualificationsEducation: High School or GEDExperience:1 year of experience in a warehouse,Forklift experience required, Clamp experience preferredSkillsHigh attention to detail - accuracy in entering data and in communicating information with others; ability to see errors and identify inconsistenciesProblem Solving - work independently and with others to resolve issuesCollaboration - Work effectively with other personnel to achieve established outcomesCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.50 - $16.50
