As a key member of our hygiene team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality dental care and creating a positive experience for our patients.You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.Our state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology will provide you with the tools and resources you need to excel in your role.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices in dental hygiene.RequirementsCurrent dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.CPR Certification.Preferred QualificationsExperience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.Physical RequirementsAbility to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.Prolonged periods sitting and standing.Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.About UsBroadlands Complete Dental is a leading dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive experience for our patients.
