Pay: $55,000 annualized Our team members enjoy: Free buffet/salad bar lunches DHG Discounts - merchandise/lodging/shows for staff Annual vacation Wooden Nickels rewards program On-the-job training Scholarship program What you'll be doing Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Safe Quality (SQF) program Guide the facility through the SQF certification process Develop, implement and manage comprehensive food safety plans and HACCP systems Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local food safety regulations Conduct food safety training for all employees, ensuring understanding and compliance with SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA and other regulatory requirements Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes and advancements in food safety to implement updates as necessary Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties Skills you'll bring along SQF, HACCP, PCQI and FSMA certifications preferred In-depth knowledge of SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA and other food safety standards Strong organization, communication and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field OR a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in food safety and quality management Job Type Full time salaried position, exempt from overtime pay M-F work week 8:00 am to 4:30 pm core hours Benefits Medical insurance and HSA 401(k) plan with match Wellness Program Dental, Vision, Accident, Life, Critical Illness, Term Life Insurance available
