This includes release of information, prepping, scanning and indexing, record completion, transcription, abstracting, coding, documentation improvement, maintenance, and storage of medical information. Provides the hospital with the necessary support and management of information as it pertains to all facets of health information management, and all related activities generated from the medical record to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies. This position also serves as the Privacy Officer for the facility.
