Your Role: The Senior Scientist/Geologist applies experience and broad knowledge gained in previous assignments in performing a variety of activities which may include marketing, research, project support, strategic planning, systems implementation, business process optimization, and client relationship management. Incumbent must be a U.S. Citizen due to client/project assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing project deliverables including client presentations (e.g., governance plan, strategic plan, functional requirements document, cost/benefit analysis, etc.).

• Arranging meeting logistics and ensuring accurate record keeping.

• Conducting relevant research and analysis on emerging chemicals.

• Prepare technical environmental report.

• Support permit application preparation and submittals.

• Providing general support as required.

• Support overall program management activities including:

oResource allocation, logistical and scheduling responsibilities

oSubcontractor oversight

oFinancial tracking

  • Client relations
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office.
  • High analytical ability and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to client/project assignments.
Education & Experience:
  • BS in environmental science/geology or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.
  • Minimum 10 years of applicable experience, including experience related to assigned tasks required.
