You’ve got what it takes to be an Optician at HSO if you:Have an Ohio Optician Dispensing License (required)Have 2 to 3 years’ optical dispensing experience (required)
A day in the life of an Optician at HSO:Travels to necessary schools to dispense eye wear.Understands how to communicate fitting and dispensing process for patient comprehension.Responsible for the maintenance and disinfection of frames, equipment and testing tools.Participates in school functions to promote the vision centerUnderstands how to communicate fitting and dispensing process for patient comprehension.Works well with children and takes initiative to explain frame styling and dispensing process.
