Responsible for coordinating, leading, implementing, and supporting the pipeline and facility safety programs across company operationsImplements and enhances the training program for operations personnelWill interface with all levels of company employees and will develop and implement plans and processes that meet critical safety, compliance, training, and business objectivesProvide oversight and continuous improvement of company safety manual and provide input to the managers & supervisors in assessing site and safety performanceMaintain health and safety records and prepare various reports for assigned facilitiesProvide organized documentation and reports on all safety related incidents and participate in and support compliance audits as neededPrepare for, attend, respond to regulatory agency inspections, concerns, findings, etcMonitor and facilitate closure of all action items resulting from audits, internal reviews, incident investigations and PHA recommendationsParticipate in processing hazard analysis, incident investigations and project reviewsProvide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure compliance, safe work practices and continued improvement of company safety manualParticipate in the development and ongoing improvement of training programsAssist with coordination and scheduling of employee training, including utilization of online learning management system for computer-based training as well as in person training programsSupporting interface with regulatory agencies, first responders and third parties, as needed, on safety compliance and enforcement issuesManage contractor evaluation process and make recommendations to managers & supervisors as necessary

Required Skills and AbilitiesKnowledgeable in application of process/personnel safety requirements and practices and environmental regulatory awarenessProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Work, Excel, and Outlook as well as with compliance management and computer-based learning management systemsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; history of effective communication in difficult or high stress situationsStrong leadership skills; acting as subject matter expert for problem-solving and analysisAbility to prioritize tasks, deal with interruptions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth- oriented environmentOil and gas industry safety experience10 years of experience in safety with strong project management skills10 years experience in oil and gas safety with strong project management skillsAbility to work outside of normal working hoursValid driver's license with no restrictions required

Compensation details:

80000-140000 Yearly Salary
