Incyte is committed to the rigorous pursuit of research and development excellence to improve the lives of patients, make a difference in health care, and build sustainable value.The Company strives to discover and develop first-in-class and best-in-class medicines-advancing a diverse portfolio of large and small molecules.Job Summary (Primary function):The cell culture scientist will develop and optimize early and late phase bioprocesses in support of Incyte's biologics pipeline that includes monoclonal or bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, and other large molecules in early to late-stage clinical development as well as commercial launch. The individual will be responsible for working hands-on in the process development laboratory to assist in execution of cell culture experiments which includes process development and optimization, manufacturing support, troubleshooting, process characterization, and validation. As necessary, the individual will be required to author or review batch records, technical reports, and manufacturing investigations. The individual will need to work directly with cross-functional teams, which includes cell line development, purification, and analytical. The individual is expected to multi-task on several projects running simultaneously.Essential Functions of the Job

(Key responsibilities):Assist hands-on to execute experiments in support of early and late-stage cell culture process development, scale-up, characterization and validation activities as necessary.Assist in authoring technical reports, deviation reports and manufacturing investigations, standard operating procedures, process descriptions, batch records, guideline documents and tech-transfer documents.Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members including cell line development, purification, and analytical.Responsible for lab management tasks including: ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, training team members, and recording experimental results in ELN.Assist team efforts in promoting technology development and continuous improvement to streamline biologics development in Incyte.Communicates clearly and collaborate actively with internal cross-functional teams to facilitate pipeline development of large molecules.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Cell Biology or related with 0 - 3 years of experience.Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Cell Biology or related with 3 - 6 years of experience.Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Hands-on experience with process development, manufacturing support or GMP manufacturing is essential.Previous experience of working on several projects running simultaneously while working independently and as part of a team is preferable.Experience with cell line development, scale-up, design of experiments, bioreactor culture, bioprocess automation, process characterization, validation is preferable.Disclaimer:
