DescriptionAs a Digital Signal Processing Engineer at Sonance, you will be at the forefront of audio DSP technology, developing new algorithms that push the boundaries of what our audio equipment can achieve. Your expertise in C/C++ and your experience in crafting cutting-edge DSP algorithms will play a critical role in our product development process.Key Responsibilities
Develop, tune, and optimize DSP algorithms for audio signal processing.Implement these algorithms in C/C++ for use in production systems.Collaborate with other engineers and product developers to integrate DSP algorithms into commercial products.Conduct experimental tests and prototype evaluations to refine DSP techniques.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DSP, AI, and ML to enhance product features and performance.Document development processes and algorithm functionalities for future reference and improvements.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in DSP engineering, including hands-on experience with C/C++ programming.Track record of developing novel DSP algorithms, including filter design and Fourier transforms.Solid understanding of digital audio signal processing techniques and theory.Ability to benchmark and measure performance in low-level C and assembly.A willingness and ability to “get down to the hardware” as needed.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with digital modelling and simulation of speakers and amplifiers.Experience with gstreamer codec development and testing.Experience with AI and ML applications in DSP.Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/SCRUM workflow.Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python.Experience in the audio technology industry, particularly in speaker and amplifier products.Published research or projects in the field of DSP, AI, or ML.Please Note:
