Join AZAD as an Instructional Designer and support the technical training organization within a regional electric utility.
This individual will consult with Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) to develop courses, create or convert existing technical and safety courses into Web-based Training (WBT) courses using Toolbook and Adobe Captivate, including creating content and questions and provide subject matter expertise for special projects, which could include assisting partner organizations with training related efforts.
This is a
2 years
plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment.
This position is hybrid with 1 - 2 days on site weekly in Vancouver, Washington.
The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $36.11.The ideal candidate must the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor's degree in educational design, education training & development, or a related field is desirable.1 year of experience as an Instructional System Development (ISD) Designer, Training Specialist, or Course Developer required.Proficiency with Adobe software development products: Flash, Audition, Premiere Pro, Bridge, Standard, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator.Experience with and working knowledge of the following programs: Toolbook, Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Basic HTML script, SnagIt, Visio Pro, MS InfoPath, Nintex.Proficiency with SharePoint sufficient to create and maintain content, sites, pages, links, and InfoPaths, and to assist with maintenance (working with IT).Advanced proficiency with MS Word.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft software such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
