The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys and clients, handling a variety of cases within the areas of insurance defense, labor and employment law, and environmental law. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience and a passion for litigation and legal advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, including coverage disputes, personal injury, and general liability.
• Advise employers on labor and employment law issues, including wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and discrimination claims.
• Assist in environmental law cases, handling regulatory compliance, environmental litigation, and risk assessment.
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and contracts.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and provide timely updates on case progress.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in MO.
• 2-4 years of experience practicing in insurance defense, labor and employment law, and/or environmental law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Litigation experience preferred.
