We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent IP Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for intellectual property law and a proven track record in patent prosecution. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse IP issues and engage with a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent IP Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of IP agreements including licensing, confidentiality, and research agreements.
  2. Advising clients on a wide range of IP-related issues, including patentability, validity, and infringement matters.
  3. Preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and managing patent prosecutions in foreign jurisdictions.
  4. Conducting due diligence investigations and risk assessments on IP matters.
  5. Representing clients in IP disputes before courts, arbitration panels, or administrative bodies.
  6. Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  7. Staying updated on current legal trends, laws, and regulations affecting IP rights.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent IP Attorney role should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in intellectual property law with a focus on patent prosecution.
  3. Admission to practice before the USPTO.
  4. Excellent knowledge of IP law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  5. Proven track record in drafting and negotiating IP agreements.
  6. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
