Assistant Director of Graduate AdmissionsThe OpportunityLesley University is seeking an Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions to join our graduate admissions team. Collaborating with the VP/AVP of Enrollment and Director of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment, and reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, the Assistant Director will be an integral part of the Enrollment team. The Assistant Director is the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and members of the public interested in attending our Graduate Programs. The position requires a commitment to and delivery of superior communication and customer service. The Assistant Director serves as a member of a team that manages 1,000+ admission applications and multiple programs. The Assistant Director will manage the recruitment and enrollment process to Master’s degrees, Graduate Certificate, and PhD programs representing the University’s pillars of Mental Health & Well-being, Art & Design, Education, and Business. The Assistant Director communicates with prospective graduate students from point of inquiry through enrollment while taking on specific short or long-term projects related to recruitment and conversion. Some weekend and evening work is required.

Qualities and CapabilitiesA successful candidate will have:Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 2+ years of prior

admissions/sales/customer

service experience preferred.

Ability to travel as required; must hold a valid driver’s license; access to a car preferred but not required.

Some weekend and evening work required.

Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills required and ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals.

Computer skills and data entry experience required. Microsoft Office and CRM experience preferred.
