Please refer to detailed additional info for specifics on each certification Job Details Clinical review and auto offer The Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU) Joining the Inpatient Oncology team gives new nurses the opportunity to train in both levels of care and gain deep knowledge of the care for the oncology patient The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4, while in SCTU it is 1:3 due to the higher level of care for both day shift and night shift Job Requirements ONS cert required Can submit with second part of cert pending provided clinician has completed the first part BLS, ACLS preferred not required Must adhere to UVAs float policy Can submit with VA license pending Must have Epic experience Schedule Information Nights 10/28 or 11/11 start 36 or 48 hours 13 weeks Every other weekend, must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays Can approve 40 hours max for time off, unable to approve 12/24-12/25 off Unit Specific Information Unit: Inpatient Oncology unit on 3 South Opportunity to train in acute care and intermediate care levels Experience in a 28 bed adult acute care and a 15-bed intermediate care unit Additional Details Proof of I9 or Attestation Government issued photo ID required.
