SUMMARY

Responsible for safely driving a commercial motor vehicle over established route to deliver dairy products, providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following.Other duties may be assigned

•Deliver dairy products safely and on time to customers.

•Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer retention.

•Must be able to safely operate an electric pallet jack and be certified.

•Rotate, and remove out of date, damaged, or unsellable product.

•Pick up all empty milk crates and pallets.

•Resolve discrepancies and minor customer issues, alerting management when necessary.

•Ensure all paperwork is signed and store stamped.

•Comply with DOT regulations and company policy including required pre and post trip inspections, completing required paperwork daily.

•Maintain assigned truck in a neat and clean condition.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

•Customer Service or Sales Experience a plus

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

•Excellent motor vehicle report

•Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

•Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and physical abilities test

•Must be organized, detailed oriented, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

•Possess a Class A or B driver's license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

•Must be able to frequently walk, stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, and pull.

•Must be able to frequently lift milk case weighing up to 55 lbs. and push/pull stacks of milk weighing 250-300 lbs. using provided equipment.
