Senior Risk Analyst, Investment Risk
buckleighwilliams has partnered with a global presence in investment banking, to identify a Senior Risk Analyst for the Investment Risk function within the CFO division. The Investment Risk team oversees client portfolios, designing and executing risk programs to manage market, liquidity, sustainability, and counterparty risk. This includes regular monitoring, analysis, and reporting of risks.
Role Details:
The Senior Risk Analyst focuses on assessing, controlling, and governing investment risks within commingled investment vehicles and separately managed accounts, considering market, counterparty credit, and liquidity risks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct risk monitoring and analysis on a variety of portfolios.Produce, analyze, and report on risk metrics such as Value-at-Risk, Tracking Error, Liquidity Ratios, and Transaction Costs.Support the maintenance of risk data.Contribute to risk framework projects and enhancements.Prepare materials for oversight committees and Fund Board.Support due diligence of external sub-advisors.Document risk processes, methodologies, and assessments.Qualifications:
University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or similar.Minimum 2 years of experience in financial industry (Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Valuation, Risk Analytics).Experience with analytical models for financial instruments.Knowledge of financial instruments and related analytics and risk factors.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL).Strong analytical and communication skills.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for asset managers is a plus.What We Offer:
