License Compliance Auditor

to join our

Global

team working from one of our many offices across the United States,in an

onsite/hybrid role . This role focuses on supporting and contributing to the strategies of the License Compliance (LC) program in the Americas, including within the Audit Program expansion.Audit Activities:Drive audit pipeline by:

Establishing a list of audit candidates based on data miningWorking with the Business to identify potential candidates

Identify potential non-compliant use of DS software and utilize the Audit Program to bring the customer back into compliance.Work with LC investigators to build relationships with the Sales leaders & Sales teams to gain leads and to foster a positive working relationshipReview audit nominations to ensure completeness of data regarding the identified customerEnsure project management of each audit with a log of the different audit steps, including timescale for completion, utilizing 3DS' case management system.Ensure appropriate and timely reporting on Audit program, including forecasting as well as tracking revenue and expenseEnsure full communication on case/program status and progress to LC Regional leaders and/or investigatorsCoordinate audit engagements with audit partnersPartner with LC team to ensure an efficient negotiation that results in the best resolution for the customer and 3DSEstablish lessons learned, best practices and improvements, including benchmarks from other software vendors practices, for future audit deployment

Direct Engagement Activities:Gather data on customers along with their relationships to affiliates, subsidiaries, and parent companiesAnalyze customer Agreements and their associated installed basesReview the understood deployment of customer licensing with the Sales, Industry, Technical, and Deal Value Engineering teams.Detail likely non-compliant situations and support investigative processes of the cases thereafterIn support of Mergers & Acquisitions reviews:Review customer M&A activitiesAnalyze Agreements, inventory, and locations of use for impacted customersDetermine if the end result of customer M&A results in contractual non-complianceWork with customer and Sales to ensure all DS licensing is compliant with the Terms of the Agreement

Establish lessons learned, best practices and improvements for future deployment

QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

* 5+ years of experience preferably in a complex global matrix software organizationAbility to bring stakeholders together from diverse disciplines e.g. sales, marketing, law firms, resellers, manufacturing and design companies, etc

* Proven negotiations skills along with the ability to proactively negotiate and influence the decision making process* Strong prioritizing and multitasking skills with competing priorities and influences* Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure* Highly organized with critical attention to details* Functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge Visio, Access or SQL* Ability and willingness to learn our proprietary internal tools* Plusses, not requiredo Fluency in French is highly preferred; fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is helpfulo Advance knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPointShape your career with 3DS!

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
