**Job Description:**
- Work in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU caring for adult patients.- Manage a range of diagnoses including Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory failure, Cardiac arrest, Renal failure, DKA, and cardiogenic shock.- Collaborate with attending physicians and residents available 24 hours a day.- Float as needed, primarily to Medical/Surgical Units.- Handle rotating shifts as required with a potential schedule of 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a; night shifts are fixed.- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, or 1:1 for high acuity cases.- Utilize the EPIC EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.- Demonstrate competency in telemetry.
This role demands a dedicated RN prepared to adapt to the dynamic environment of an ICU, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.
