We are a fully-integrated, global contract manufacturer for orthopedic, trauma, spine and dental markets and a recognized expert in casting, machining, plasma spray coatings and additive manufacturing technologies in the medical field. Our disruptive renewed strategy allows us to provide true "Concept to Launch" support to OEM customers. We are able to assist our customers during all stages of their manufacturing journey, from device conception and manufacturing through to finishing and polishing, and eventual packaging.
ABOUT THE JOB
The primary functions include the inspection for abnormalities and grinding smooth any imperfections.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visual inspection of product for abnormalities in the surface.Reads blueprints, routers, work instructions or inspection procedures to determine most effective method of work.Using grinding tool, smooth and buff product.Responsible to remove and deburr material that is not included in the product drawings, tolerances, dimensions, etc.Match product to specifications and ensure grinding does not remove more material than required.Works overtime as necessary.Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
or
one to three years' related experienceExperience working in production environment. PreferredPossesses basic knowledge of safety equipment and practices. PreferredFull training will be given as needed.SKILLS:
LANGUAGE SKILLSExcellent communication skills.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, routers and written procedures.Ability to write simple correspondence.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
