The Senior Analyst role provides a great opportunity for a talented and aspiring commercially oriented finance professional to play a key role in supporting our US RTD (Ready to Drink) business. The role provides for a broad view across a dedicated commercial business as it supports both the longer-term strategic needs of the business as well providing analysis and insights on in-year performance. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders whilst supporting our innovation teams as a key liaison with other finance partners as well as the development of P&Ls and multi-year pipeline views. The role is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience whilst enhancing commercial/brand-building in a dynamic environment and can be a stepping stone to future opportunities across the organization.
Role Responsibilities
The role is intended to provide strong finance business partnerships to the RTD & SV team. Specifically, the key responsibilities of the Sr. Analyst include:
Take ownership of the monthly close and reporting close processes in partnership with other Finance stakeholders and 3rd party partners to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant business results are available for downstream decision-making activitiesSupport monthly and quarterly reporting packages and associated presentations, providing RTD-specific analytics as requestedIdentify the key business drivers and dynamics of key markets using syndicated consumption data (Nielsen/NABCA) to provide quality insights alongside the financial reporting to the RTD LeadershipSupport annual planning and 3Y strategic planning cycles in development of P&L scenario modeling, whilst owning the systematic aspects to support all submissions in planning platformsWork as a true business partner for the RTD & SV brand teams and finance function for ad-hoc projects and analysis, driving continuous improvement to achieve best-in-class analytics and finance supportAnalyze and track Brand Marketing spend, ensuring a high level of forecast accuracy and investments are optimized whilst seeking opportunities to improve efficiency of spendDevelop P&Ls for new product launches/innovations initiated by brand teams - Includes new product launches, size extensions, re-design, DTV, discontinuationsMaintain a long-term view of strategic innovation pipeline across the RTD portfolio, partnering with key stakeholders to understand and quantify impacts to long-term innovation strategyConduct post-performance analysis on key innovations to identify key learnings that can be integrated into future projectsAssist with benchmark creation across the RTD team, always displaying a PDCA mindsetIdentify opportunities, and implement solutions, to enhance analysis and insights through process and reporting improvementsQualifications
Strong finance professional with ~3-5 years of progressive financial experience with proven record of increasing responsibility scopesUndergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field. Accreditations such as CPA, CFA, and/or advanced degree not required but would be a plusAbility to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for key insights with a strong attention to detailPrior P&L experience in a region or segment of a consumer facing business would be idealKnowledge of key systems and ability to construct financial model to aid in data analysisAble to develop and maintain key working relationships within the organizationExcellent communication and people skills with ability to develop and maintain key working relationships within the organization and display a high degree of integrityAn analytical mind, exceptional with the numbersDemonstrated ability to manage multiple stage projects to their completionGood business acumen and understanding of strategy, competitive dynamics, pricing strategies, customer economics, brand building economics, ROI conceptsDemonstrates key competencies to a high standard: Collaboration, Self-Driven, Attention to detail and ability to manage complex data
