Hospital in Southern Arizona is looking for RNs to complete a 13 week assignment on their Med Surg/Tele Tower 2 unit.The right candidates will have 3+ years of experience and have an active BLS.Job Requirements
3+ years of experienceActive BLS certificationEPIC experience required.RNs required to titrate drips.Experience with all drips listedCharge nurses are generally free of assignment.Schedule Information
Shifts are 6:45-7:15a.Charge nurse to make schedule to balance unit needs, consider travelers' requests.4 weekend days per month required.3 out of 5 holidays required.Low Census for full or partial day call.Floating to ICU within patient population, and MS floors.Unit Specific Information
Nurse: Patient Ratios 1:4-5, could have some mixed MS and PCU patients.1:5 for all MS patientsRequired certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.Travelers must have experience with amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, heparin, start nitro, insulin drips.PCA-8-12 per person, potentially lessRT Equipment includes bipap, hi flow, stable trach.Travelers need to read tele, dedicated monitor tech also available.Scrubs color/Dress code: Navy BlueOrientation includes 1NEO, 1 clinical ed, 1 day floor.Additional Details
Need PCU/Tele/Stepdown experience.Common diagnoses/types of patients include CHF, NSTEMI, MI, etc.Travelers must be OK with their first-time assignments.Prefers experience with TAVR and CABG.Unit has cardiac focus.Availability required in the next 24-48 hrs for a potential interview with the unit manager.
