May help supervise an Administrative Assistant.
Summary:
Generate new business for Centier Bank building Business relationships (including deposits and lending - SBA and conventional) in a profitable manner while cross-selling other Bank products and services to new and existing clients. Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of the banking industry and the credit underwriting process.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide financial counseling and world-class customer service to all internal and external clients.
Build new SBA and conventional banking relationships (deposits and loans), calling on prospective and current clients to discuss their financial needs, and leveraging a disciplined sales process to obtain and maintain the relationship.
Support assigned branches to attain their Business goals.
Actively monitor the portfolio and address any exceptions promptly with management.
Record and report calling and pipeline activities weekly.
Leverage the established sales process in pursuit of additional relationships.
Maintain primary focus on small business relationships (credit exposure of up to $1 MM)
Cross-sell Bank products and services to build full-service relationships.
Provide effective financial analysis, complete information for timely preparation of credit packages, and present credit recommendations to the proper decisioning authority.
Develop a referral network by calling on Centers of Influence within the communities you serve.
Source and provide referrals in support of Centier Bank's continued growth.
Make joint sales calls with the Business Banking Sales Manager and Department Manager as requested.
Participate in workshops, seminars, and training as required.
Act as an ambassador for Centier Bank by participating in community activities including business, charitable, civic, and social events.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Job Specifications / Skill Requirements:
Follow Centier Bank's Essentials of Excellence.
Possess strong organizational skills and exhibit personal leadership skills.
Possess a strong understanding of accounting and credit analysis procedures.
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently in pursuit of goals.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
Experience with CSI and Loan Scoring Systems (i.e. Credit Quest, etc.) required.
Knowledge of Small Businesses Administration (SBA) lending programs is expected.
Some travel may be required as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in management or related field with a strong knowledge of business financial statements or equivalent experience.
Proven record of high performance in current and previous roles.
Minimum of five years' experience in business-to-business sales or related fields.
