Remote Storage System Architect

A Fortune 500 client is looking to have a Storage System Architect join their team. This client is leading company in the Aerospace and Defense, communications, enterprise healthcare, industrial, capital equipment and energy industries to deliver solutions for their most complex challenges in manufacturing hardware solutions. As a Storage System Architect you will define the architecture of the storage/server system, lead new technology research, study market trend, customers interface and lead the clients design team in the storage/server space. The ideal candidate needs to have strong knowledge in server design, JBODs and storage controllers and subsystems, as well as implementation of x86 based design as well as knowledge in ethernet, FC, SCSI, MVMe, SAS and PCIe protocol. This role will be 100% remote with travel up to 5 times per year.

Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required 10-15+ years of server/storage hardware design experience. Minimum of 8 years of server/storage experience at the system level Successful experience architecting and delivering server/storage/converged products to market Excellent customer presentation skills. Interface and interact with large OEM and end user customers on ongoing product design
