Plymouth Ave. Deland, FLThe role youll contribute:The Process Improvement Specialist is a qualified individual who, under the general direction of the Director, will provide project management and clinical analytic support to high priority cost and effectiveness initiatives throughout the system. The Process Improvement Specialist is tasked with identifying inefficiencies in healthcare delivery services and solutions to re-engineer systems to improve the access, quality and cost of care for beneficiaries and the organization. This role will primarily focus on process analysis, time and cost studies, process simulation, process and productivity improvement in the clinical setting.The value youll bring to the team:Provides a weekly summary of project progress and learnings to the director for the communication cascade to local executives and front-line staffDemonstrates commitment to patient safety and protecting patients and providers by advocating safe practices and policiesHolds paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public in the performance of professional duties and escalates patient safety concerns to appropriate leadership, up to and including executives, with honesty and integrityActs as an in-house consultant for current and proposed needs for data and information to guide performance improvement by advising leadership and staff on methods of data collection and database design to maximize data integrityFacilitates use of data to identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomesUtilizes and maintains computer applications and databases. Writes queries, analyzes and reports in multiple programs, not limited to: Premier, NDNQI, Hospital Financial Reports, PowerBI, Cerner (Power Insight) and MS Access.The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :Minimum qualifications :

Associates DegreeBachelors degree in Nursing, Engineering, Business or Healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience in related field.Preferred qualifications:
