Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced BI Developer to join our Tech Services team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders and teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define BI requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives.
2. Develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
3. Manage and maintain our data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
4. Conduct data validation to ensure the quality and reliability of data used for analysis.
5. Translate business needs into end-user applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
6. Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
7. Evaluate existing data-collecting and analytics systems for potential improvements.
8. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
9. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and data for seamless business intelligence solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
3. Expertise in BI technologies, like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau.
4. Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, ETL frameworks.
5. Strong understanding of data management (permissions, recovery, security, monitoring).
6. Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
7. Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
8. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects at one time.
10. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
11. Outstanding problem solver.
12. Good written and verbal communication skills.
