A bit about us:An established and growing nationwide developer is looking for a Construction Project Manager for their local multifamily projects throughout Sandy and SLC, UT. This is a full-time position and no travel is required, all projects are local. Any experience with podium/PT decks is a nice skill to have.

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Construction Project Manager with a focus on multifamily projects to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading construction company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, with a specific focus on multifamily housing. This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager for Multifamily Projects, you will:
- Manage all aspects of the construction process, including the selection of subcontractors, the supervision of work crews, the procurement of materials, and the compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise the design and planning of construction projects, working closely with architects and engineers to develop detailed plans and specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may impact the successful completion of the project.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a specific focus on multifamily projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
- A proven track record of successfully completed projects, demonstrating leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
