Job Details

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our thriving team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to leverage your financial acumen, leadership skills, and industry knowledge to drive our business forward. As the FP&A Manager, you will play a critical role in strategic decision-making processes, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of the construction/real estate development industry and a proven track record in financial management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis initiatives to support the company's financial strategy
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and implement budgetary control measures to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Approve budgets, improve our financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
  • Coordinate with different department heads to compile and review financial information
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the construction or real estate development industry
  • Proven experience in the approval of budgets
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to direct and manage a team
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Proficiency in financial modelling techniques
