As a BWH Oncology nurse you will have the chance to care for a broad-range of patients, as well as be trained to administer life-saving treatments including: Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Stem Cell Transplants, and CAR-T. Additionally, the BWH/DFCI Cancer Center supports many different research studies and protocols. As an Oncology staff nurse, you will be able to participate in the BWH shared governance structure to help make improvements and foster new ideas. If you enjoy working with a strong supportive team on the frontlines of cancer treatment- BWH Oncology nursing would be a great fit.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:•Partnering with Nursing leadership in planning and implementing patient care at the service/department level.•Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.QualificationsQualifications:•Current Massachusetts license. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.•Three to Five years of recent oncology experience inclusive of bone marrow transplants and CAR T required.•Oncology experience preferred.•Two years of experience in nursing with directly related clinical experience and demonstrated leadership ability.•Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty areas is encouraged.•For external applicants:- Bachelors or Masters in Nursing required.•For internal applicants:- Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred.
